JHS Notaklön
One of the most unique pedal concepts ever conceived. The Klon is a an extremely rare and highly coveted overdrive pedal that is famously hard to emulate because the original developer covered the electronics in a substance called goop, so no one could reverse engineer it. Those who have played a Klon claim that it is pure magic. So when JHS was able to reverse engineer the sound of the original, they wanted to do something clever with it. The Notaklön is a spoof on an IKEA furniture item, and it comes as a kit that you have to assemble yourself. It even includes a tube of goop that you can apply to the circuit board. To be perfectly honest, I don't think the Klon is all that special, and although this version of it sounds accurate, I'm not a huge fan. But it was all worth it to have a pedal that I assembled myself in my collection. (I did not apply the goop.)
